Most people eat fast foods at least once per day. A good diet is plentiful in "whole foods", in other words, foods that come from nature "as is", such as, fresh fruits and vegetables. In the U.S. generally when people think about their health and illness, the first thing they think about is going to the Doctor and getting a pill to fix their problem. Whereas if people would think about their diets and the processed poisons that they are putting into their bodies they would be much better off. Think whole foods folks, this one thought will put you on the right track to better health and a healthier weight.

When your body is nourished the way it should be, your immune system will work much more efficiently in thwarting any potential viruses or disease. The answer is not in a pill.   • Salmon: There are plenty of fatty fish, but this is the one you want. Salmon contains omega 3 fatty acid, which is excellent for your heart health. Eating Salmon once per week can help in reducing your chance of a heart attack by up to 50%.
  • Apples: Apples are full of vitamin A and C. Apples may also help in lowering your cholesterol and may also lessen your chances of getting cancer.
  • Seaweed: Seaweed is full of iodine, calcium, magnesium and iron. All things our bodies need.
  • Onions: Onions can assist in lowering cholesterol. They may also be good for individuals with breathing problems. They may also reduce you risk of stroke and heart disease.
  • Oranges: They are a tasty treat and good for you at the same time. Can't beat that. Oranges have been shown to help in prevention of cold and flu.
  • Carrots: Carrots are rich in beta carotene which has been to aid in fighting cancer. Carrots are also good for eye health.
  • Lemons: Lemons are great for cold prevention, the vitamin C will to keep you healthy. Honey and lemon are a great remedy for a sore throat.
  • Garlic: Garlic, the wonder herb. This is an herb worth studying up on. There is a multitude of benefits from eating a good amount of fresh garlic each day.
